Photo of the month competition - instructions on how to vote for your favourite photo

The theme of the February Photo Competition "QE2 Cabins and Portholes"  was chosen by Stowaway 2K, the winner of the November competition.

Each member has 3 votes (but please do not vote for your own photo). Voting is open to all members regardless of whether or not you submitted a photo.  Please choose up to three photos you want to vote for, note photo details, then tick the relevant boxes on the voting poll.

To make it easier for you we have posted the photos below but you can also view the photos submitted by members in the Gallery.   You will probably get a better view of the photos in the Gallery where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form and you can then click on the pictures shown, and click again, to see them in large size.

Click on the Gallery button from the forum or click on this link:
https://www.theqe2story.com/forum/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=110

You will not see the results until after the voting has closed on 1 April 2014 giving other time zones the chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

The prize for the winner will be the Amberley publication "The British Cruise Ship", donated by Rob Lightbody and Amberley Books :

It is good to see that members have started voting for the February competition and already I can see that it will be a difficult choice to select your three favourites.   :)

The "QE2 cabins and portholes" photos are so good that they deserve lots more votes, so if you have a wee bit time on your hands, relax, have a drink (tea, coffee, wine, beer - the choice is yours) and vote for your three favourite photos.

  • Beautiful, elegant QE2 - forever Queen of the Seas
I just submitted my vote.  It was very difficult to select three from all of the magnificent photos.
QE2 - the ship for all of time, a ship of timeless beauty !
