It looks like she is still in the Sattahip area , but repositioned, maybe they've been giving her a run she has been stationary for quite some time, what I do find a bit of a worry is the website , that they were using has become vacant (Afloat on the Yangon -Oasia welcomes you ). Maybe I'll sendem an email , let the painting take a back seat for a while, keep you posted if any reply.

Pete - One of your emails could be Brilliant!
At the same time, maybe you need to think about coming down to the 'pool for the Three Ships and Nuts-in-May
R.
QE2 had been waiting alongside in Dubai for nearly 12 years.  Please restore her Lifeboats and Tenders to where they truly belong - she looks naked without them - please spare her this ignominy.

Just to update I sent an email to  ocean@fleetpro-psm.com who were listed as consultants to Millenium View ltd who purchased Ruby, no reply as yet.   I also fired one off to info@oasia-yangon.com  (who were kind enough to reply to an email request in October last year,
no reply as yet.  Do find it a little worrying not knowing, but at least she still moves!!, although as Rosie states previously , the course is a little wierd, also the list of ports cannot be identified on this page   http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/index/port_moves/all/shipid:372123/shipname:OASIA

will try again over the weekend to Eugene Win ,director of rooms, oasia floating hotel at the above email address (maybe somebody will join me, let em know were looking out for her)  thinking of joining you in Liverpool Rosie, should've finished painting by then- maybe

Well, I fired a few emails off asking about progress on Oasia (Ruby) but no response, don't know what to think, maybe it's happening all over again . Could do with somebody on holiday getting a photo & posting it (not going to happen is it?)

Oh, my ! so the original plans have come to naught.  That was very worrisome when no news was forthcoming.  Thanks, Raymo, for posting this message and link.  June   :(

Poor old thing, they cannot even get photos (of such poor quality) correct I do believe that one of the dining room photos is from
Saga Rose, maybe in her Sagafjord days. Sloppy advertising, thanks for finding & posting Raymo, even if it isn't particurly good news.

Found this over 12month old image of her tied up alongside, big hole cut in her port flank, then since nothing, lots of links to photos for her in happier times.

Oasia is still in Sattahip still radiating her signal on Marinetraffic at least that's a good sign
Just looked at the picture the only hole in the side I can see looks like the main embarkation entrance With the outer doors open
if I remember correctly they opened inwards
I seem to remember embarking through there when I last sailed on her when she was Saga Ruby
If you wanted to see a Saga ship with a hole in its side Saga Sapphire had a great big hole cut into her Flank when they upgraded a Generator set
But that was much lower into the Engine Room, I am sure there was a video on the Saga Sapphire Upgrade Blog Showing the operation
