Hi June & Bruce

it is possible  she would go via Singapore to uplift fuel then up the Malacca straight, at the moment she is out of range

It's Sad my first cruise was when she was part of the Saga Fleet as Saga Ruby

This wouldn't be too surprising, Bruce.
Her beautiful sister Saga Rose went to a 'green' scrapping yard up the Yangste

Shame she couldn't have found use as a hotel in Singapore a few years back. It would have given me an excuse to visit.

Sad isn't it
We are all watching Knowing the eventual out come, hoping for that miracle to happen, bit like a family waiting for a loved one to pass, still hoping for a miracle

Thankfully at my age I wont see  QE2  do her final Journey ,  that is provided that the present plans come to fruition

I asked a Singapore based friend to watch out for Saga Ruby, and got this message from him this morning :

Quote
Oasia (Saga Ruby) passed through the Singapore Strait today at noon and is currently heading northwards up the Malacca Strait.

I suspect we all have a fair idea where she might be heading...

If ever there was a ship that needed marine-style White Knights,
recent events show how necessary these are now...
Godspeed and so many thanks to The Good Ship, Saga Ruby.
