There were so many highlights of the get together from start to finish but for me the highlight was the reception in the Commodore Club onboard Queen Victoria.  Cunarder Man had designed and arranged for a plaque to be produced and presented onboard. Here are a few photos.

Rob presenting the plaque to Ronnie Kier, Chief Engineer onboard Queen Victoria:

What a lovely gesture, well received -- thank you, Cunarder Man, for preparing this on our behalf!

Looks like it came in a beautiful case too :) .

Lynda,

You did a fantastic job of arranging so many different things in Liverpool, it really couldn't have been any better. You have absolutely no need to justify yourself or any of the things you put in place as I can't think of anything that was not outstanding.
Don't just be part of her past, be part of her history!

I'm sure our admin would be able to do that? ;) If not I'm sure a moderator would be able to. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos.

Linda, Rob and Michael, thank you for a lovely day on Saturday.it was a great day, well thought out and organised. It was lovely to meet so many nice people. The  tour of the Cunard building was great, plus the trip on board.

Well done for getting a good deal for lunch. I do go there sometimes for lunch with my friend and we normally pay that for a sandwich and glass of wine in the bar, so you got a good deal

Everything about the day was lovely, only one problem! I couldn't stay longer and missed the night time.

Hoping to see some of you on the Victoria next May.

Thank you again

Shay :D

Looked like a great time had by all.

The Commodore Club on QV was our favourite space during our 2010 Med Cruise. The view is amazing as is the service and the general "feel" of the place. In fact the latter could be said about the whole ship!!

I hope the plaque gets a nice spot on the ship and I will look for it the next time I'm on board!

This forum goes from strength to strength.
