Yes weather forecast looks good for Friday and most of Saturday.

Rob reminded me that on Saturday we must be at the Crowne Plaza before 8.30 am as we will be leaving sharp at 8.30 am to go to the ship.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Is the big red striped funnel stirring any emotions?

Thank you very much for the photos - please keep them coming.  Yes, big red striped funnel always draws emotions.  I imagine it must definitely be more so seeing it in person.   :)

Need you ask Rob, but as pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this Vista mark II looks I'm constantly reminded of my last Liverpool visit back in 1990 onboard QE2.

Oh how I wish that was the ship I was gazing upon. Still, brilliant to be back in this wonderful city, she has changed so much but in a stunning way.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the morning.  I've resisted posting the pictures as I don't want to spoil the Cunard building visit, but, I've seen some pictures of others who have had a look round and it looks amazing.  Also looking forward to finally meeting the legend that is flagship in the flesh!
