We haven't booked it yet as we are on board QM2 for her 10th Anniversary Celebratory Transatlantic Crossing on the 9th May 2014, but also hope to be either on board Queen Victoria for 100th Aquitania trip, if not then will be in Liverpool on the 31st either way.

Thanks.

The Clyde gatherings have always been terrific fun, and this adds the special element of a visit on to QV, which I thought would be of interest to those of us who don't manage to cruise, and also to those of us who struggle to get to Southampton!

Even without the QV visit, we'll have a lovely time with the other things we can do and everyone who says they're coming can help us decide exactly what to do.

Hi,

Has been a couple of years since I posted on here due to a change of jobs but I've been an avid watcher!  Please can you put me down for myself and a plus one - now need to decide if to take the wife or my dad!

Due to our proximity to Liverpool I will drive over rather than stay over!

Cheers John

Susan Dempster has also contacted me to say she would love to join us onboard Queen Victoria
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Just one place left for the onboard visit to the Queen Victoria.

In addition to the visit onboard Queen Victoria we hope that we will be meeting for drinks and the other activities which we hope can be arranged.  So even if you do not get a place for the Queen Victoria visit please still think about meeting up with us, especially if you live near Liverpool.

Hi
Please can you add my friend Sharon Whitehead to the Queen Victoria visit.  Sharon (Shay) worked on the QE2 and has recently cruised on both QM2 and Queen Elizabeth so she will love to see the QV.  We are both looking forward to meeting you all and to seeing Lynda and tom again.
cheers
Susan

Welcome aboard everybody!

More details to follow.  The visit on board Queen Victoria has been confirmed as being from 9am until 12am - a tour followed by a reception in Hemispheres up top.

If this timing gives anyone a problem, please let us know.

We're thinking of having a loose agenda for the rest of the day, based on what everybody wants to do.  We're investigating a potential tour of the Cunard building.

For those in Liverpool on the Friday night (30 May) there will be fireworks (time TBA) on the Mersey to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the departure of Aquitania (30 May) on her Maiden Voyage and the first overnight by a Cunarder on the Mersey for almost 50 years!

Queen Victoria will arrive at 1000 hours on 30 May and sail at 1630 hours on 31 May.

Thanks for the update Michael.  The fireworks display at Liverpool for previous around Britain cruises have been fantastic, so everyone who is going to be in Liverpool on the Friday evening can look forward to this treat.
