QM2 visiting Guernsey

Hi everyone, on a recent trip to the channel islands aboard Queen Mary 2 we used the tendering facility as there is no other way of getting ashore.
 Although we have been aboard her on other occasions this was our first time on her tenders. Maybe it was the good weather that made it a pleasurable experience I don't know but it was really enjoyable! If you would like to view it you can do so here.

PS 'It's not generally known'  that on a breezy sort of day a couple of years ago, many people chose not to take a tender across the somewhat disturbed waters to St Peter Port. This provided an opportunity too good to miss...for nigh on four hours it was the most wonderful experience, having managed to wangle a seat on the empty tender Number 4, rocking back and forth-  I still remember wishing it could go on for ever!
