This month's theme is "QE2's beautiful bow", chosen for September by Elphaba, the winner of the June competition.

We are looking forward to seeing lots of photos for this theme.  QE2's bow is so memorable, and we are sure that this collection will be splendid, with all sorts of pictures of her bow, taken from various angles and at various times.  :)

The album is open -  so now is the time to remember the occasions when you enjoyed that sight, as you search your photo collection to find three pictures to upload to the competition album:

The deadline for submitting photos is 30 September 2013. Voting will run from 1 October 2013 until 30 October 2013.

We look forward to seeing your photos for this month's competition.

Good luck!  :)

Another new months and another new theme for the Photo Competition.

So let's start looking for our treasured photos that we took of:

QE2's Beautiful Bow

I have uploaded my photos already, as one of my very first memories of the ship are of her beautiful bow as she was sitting in John Brown's waiting to be launched.   :) :)

Post your photos in this month's album:

Hello Pete,

Very much cutting edge (literally!) indeed :).

Could you please send the originals to <admin@theqe2story.com> and we shall upload them to the Gallery for you? These versions look a little bit small, and a larger size would be better for the competition.

Later edit : Thank you, Pete -- done :) .

I always knew that QE2 had a beautiful bow but as I have been setting up the poll, ready for you to vote next week, I have been so pleased to see so many wonderful photos.

Twenty-nine photos have been uploaded and as the closing date is 30 September you can still submit your photos  :)
