Queen Mary 2 sailing out of Liverpool

Hi everyone, on the 17th May my wife & I sailed out of our home port of Liverpool aboard Queen Mary 2. It was a wonderful experience for us to be back on board her, I have uploaded a video onto youtube of the event and it can be viewed here.

hope it brings back a memory for anyone who was on deck that day.

Nice record of the ship leaving Liverpool.

I was surprised at the lack of crowds on the dock when leaving and have to say that QE2 always generated a lot more interest!

We were aboard quite early and throughout the day people were coming and going, the crowds were at their thickest during the noon lunch hour and then as people finished work.
