Welcome home waverley! Beautiful day here today, she should do a sailing while she's in steam!

Glad to see her safely home  :)

Fantastic photos!

Amazing to see her with everything battened down (what is the nautical term please?) for the trip round the coast.

That manoeuvre onto the berth at Glasgow Science Centre (without assistance from tugs or additional ropes) was a masterpiece of ship handling. Waverley can be a bit of a madam at the best of times but Capt Colledge had the measure of her there!!

Glad to see her home - shes looking a bit "careworn" from her extended sojourn but time for some tlc!!

Heres to 2015!

Not sure what the term would be Rob - they configure her this way for all positioning runs (ie without passengers)
Its strange to be on her with all the deadlights in position over her windows. Rather eerie!

Nice to see the red ensign and the captain's flag still flying though!!

Hi Rob - Thanks very much for posting the photos of Waverley.  She does look good even with a few rust streaks.  It is good to have her back home for the winter.   I found a very good article about Waverley in a back issue of PowerShips Journal.   :)

Good to see her home where she belongs! Such a hard working and plucky wee ship -- looking forward to meeting up with her next year :) .
