Queen Mary 2 is due in Port Rashid in just a few hours.
It is heartbreaking to think that the two old fleet-mates may not get the opportunity to greet each other as on previous occasions.
There may be no sound of the blast of QE2's great whistle.
The Officers and Crew of QM2 may find it surprising not to see QE2 alongside....
It feels so very, very sad.
