Photo of the month competition - instructions on how to vote for your favourite photo

The theme of the December competition was "QE2 Ports of Call" a theme that shows QE2 looking her best!

Forum members can vote for their favorite photo(s).  Each member has 3 votes (but please do not vote for your own photo). Voting is open to all members regardless of whether or not you submitted a photo.

To make it easier for you we have posted the photos below.

But you can also view the photos submitted by members in the Gallery - where you will probably get a better view of the photos and where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form. You can then click on the pictures shown, and click again, to see them in large size.

Choose up to three photos you want to vote for, noting photo details, then tick the relevant boxes on the voting poll.

You will not see the results until the voting has closed on 31 January 2013 (closing time for your time zone is indicated at the bottom of the poll), after which the winner will be announced.

Now that we are able to breathe for a moment while we await the outcome of the decision on QE2's fate, the time is right to vote in the current photo competition.

Have a look at the great collection of photos above, and choose the three you like best -- the winner being a probable picture for next year's QE2Story calendar!

New members are particularly encouraged to vote -- every vote counts, and we have in the past decided on excellent winners as a result of this membership participation.

EXTREMELY difficult this month - there are about 10 I wanted to tick as winners - and the others are excellent too.  Wonderfull stuff.  Thank you everybody.

Decided to play about with pic of QE2 in Honolulu harbour and remove the two ladies on the left. This just left the kissing couple and the QE2.    If the picture had been like this would it have got more votes ?     What do you think ?
