« on: Aug 02, 2009, 02:30 PM »

The book is called  QE2 A MAGNIFICENT MILLENNIUM.

Here is a link  http://www.mytravelreviews.co.uk/2004/11/my-book-review-qe2-magnificent.html

I have found the book quoted by Louis, on Amazon. Louis, would you recommend it? A good buy?

Has anyone else read it?

When I met Myles last week, he lent it to me, and it is indeed a truly excellent QE2 book indeed.

Gary Buchanan, the author, is a member on here.

Possibly, if you were to only have 1 QE2 book, or were wanting to show a friend how great QE2 was, this would be the book and It has quite a lot of photos that I've not seen elsewhere, HOWEVER, if you have most other key QE2 books, and not unlimited space, I maybe wouldn't rush and get it...

I have Gary's great book Queen Elizabeth 2: Sailing into the new Millennium - it showcases an excellent retrospective of the ship's interior from conception through to the Project Lifestyle era.

After Louis mentioned it I ordered a copy from Amazon. It arrived this morning and it is excellent. The book includes pictures of the ship for all her incarnations :) I'd recommend it.
