I'm going with the second option  ;D

Posted in the early days of the forum and  I have to admit it is one of my favourite stories.  Some of us paid lots of money to travel on the QE2 and the humble pidgeon manages to travel first class (by pidgeon standards) for free.

Okay... I have to admit, I haven't been able to bring myself to read this post.  I have this weird soft spot for birds.  And one of my only ... well, sad (or disturbing) memories was seeing a little bird on my balcony one day out of Southampton.  I was distraught worrying about how this bird would drink water or eat.  And there I was living in the lap of luxury!  So, out of guilt I started putting snacks and water out on the balcony hoping the bird would survive!

.... So someone, please tell me that the pigeon in this thread survives.  And then maybe I can read it!

Scott, this is a "must read" story for you and I can assure you there is a happy ending.

Something else from my 'memories boxes'!

My eldest daughter, who was PR Manager for Barclays Bank at Canary Wharf at the time, was in the canteen eating her lunch when this item was featured on Sky News on the canteen TV, she screamed, 'That's my dad'!
