QE2 - as a Time Share project?
« on: Jul 05, 2012, 02:32 PM »
Just wondering...
Another message with the recent DW press release reached my inbox - this time from; it raised a topic that until now (I think?) hasn't been raised here.
On the face of it - it's tempting to think 'Why ever not?'!
If QE2 was available to provide accommodation as a Time Share, would anyone / you consider using it?
Certainly if she was to be 'posted' to Europe, wild horses wouldn't stop me!

If ever the idea came to fruition, maybe staking a claim for a spell in the Caledonia Suit might be a priority for Members of the TQS - this (to my simple mind) is the most superb accommodation anywhere!
Here's an image that fortunately Rob managed to take during his visit. If anyone else has more of the Suite, it would be lovely to see them
The second image here might be Suite # 8200 as well.
