It used to be a proud boast of Dr Nigel Roberts that relating to QE2 ;) Other than being in a hospital when it happens the QE2 was the best place to fall ill.  You would have thought (and lm no Dr) but from a laymans point of view given the prospect of being landed ashore by the RNLI (and no disrespect to their sterling work) and enduring the journey to a hospital, might it not have been better to wait till the ship the docked in Southampton before sending the patient to hospital. It was a "suspected" cardiac arrest.

 you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!
