QE2 story Clyde Gathering - 29th & 30th of June 2012

Hello everybody,

The proposed date for our Clyde weekend this year, is the 29th & 30th of June.

Friday night drinks in the Crowne Plaza, and then the day trip on the Waverley the next day.

I can't make those dates    as I'm booked for a lovely 'gourmet break' in the Lake District that weekend, with a cruise on one of the Ullswater steamers - and have paid for it in advance...  but I'll be up on the Clyde from 20th - 28th July    if anyone else is around.

I am so looking forward to meeting up with QE2 Story members at the end of June particularly after meeting up with members in Southampton on Tuesday.

I'm miffed that I'm going to miss it this year too. I had to surrender my passport last week while my resident permit is being processed so I'm stuck in Kuwait. At this stage I don't know when I will get it back.

That's my Waverley ticket booked!

It will be my first trip on the Waverley this year and it will be nice to do it with friends!

Sounds good - and great to know that once more, Waverley's doing what she does best!
Sadly and regrettably, it looks as if it may not be possible for me to get to the gathering in Glasgow in June / July.
I'll know more this next week, and will keep you posted.
