Hi Rosie,

I'm glad that you posted from this website.  I think it's the most important Queen Mary website, as it give the most accurate picture of the QM after her arrival in California beyond the usual tourist attraction fluff.   Most websites tend to end their Queen Mary histories in Dec. 1967, or quickly gloss over the past four decades.

Regarding the radio installations, today's Queen Mary Attraction promotes the current Boat Deck display as all original.  This couldn't be further from the truth. 

Additionally, this website provides a look at "Alternative Visions", a proposal to restore some of what has been lost and to operate the Queen Mary in a manner that is more sympathetic to her history.
