The Liners DVD
« on: Aug 03, 2013, 03:21 PM »
An interesting boxed set of three DVD's that I picked up at a car boot sale a couple of weeks ago for £2.50. OK not too much about QE2, but she does feature in a time lapse sequence coming in to Sydney. There is also a brief appearance by Captain Peter Jackson (out of uniform) in another clip.

Quite a lot of footage of some of the earlier liners and some interesting facts about Germany's contribution to the cruise ship idea.

No ISBN number on it but seems to be distributed by www.demanddvd.co.uk I have just visited their website and found it was due for re-launch on 1st August 2013.

The box shows it was copyrighted in 1997. Each DVD runs for about 55mins and is well worth watching if you can get hold of a copy

Don't just be part of her past, be part of her history!
