oK this is NOT QE2  (so you can stop reading) but one of a few sleeping with the crew stories l can recount. l did once venture forth on another cruise, only a 7 night fly cruise at a bargain rate £10 all in.

Having landed and been transported to the terminal for checkin, l spied a few of what can only be said was naked male postcards, which were duly purchased. Boarded without delay and found my outside twin (for sole use, they upgraded)  dropped my little manbag and cards on the bed and the room steward came along and introduced himself, did l detect a touch of the camp chat,he  noticed the cards on the bed and had me sussed out, well that was all l needed and launched into full banter ::) quite a spunky steward, anyway he left and l never thought any more about the encounter.

Changed for dinner and left the cabin, saw the room steward exchange of greetings and all l said was "see you later" with perhaps a bigger smile than normal, fast forward to drinks, dinner, more drinks, bar and disco and a late return to the cabin and lm sound asleep when a dream becomes very real and lm aware of movement down stairs (and l dont mean the engine room :-X) the cabin was dark and gently lm feeling a sensation that is all to real and gently open my eyes to be face to face with said steward inches away from mine, his dark skin revealing two bright eyes and teeth, how l never had a heart attack is beyond me, " lm here, you said see you later, lm here" well having calmed down and checking l wasnt under attack or such like, made full use of the present situation and enjoyed what was offered, before he left to go on duty, l did say that perhaps he was taking a risk being just so forward, and when he said  in broken english "Oh you kind , you no harm me"
Well as it was to happen every morning about 5am he would let himself into the cabin with a breakfast tray  for an hour before he went on duty and as we amused ourselves ;).. Not only did l get a very early  breakfast, but l started off each day with a beaming smile, Now when people menttion room service, l cant help but smile quietly and cast my mind back. ;D

I'll fess up...... ;D    Although it was not on the QE 2, I did have a "fling" with one of the waiters on the Nordic Prince (RCCL) back in the mid 80's on a cruise to Bermuda.  He was from Paris (ooh-la-la  :o)  and SOOOO cute.  We kept in touch afterwards and I ended up flying to France to see him when he was on his vacation. We spent 1 week in Paris and 1 week down on the French Riviera.  Then, he came over to Florida to visit me.  It was GREAT while it lasted!
And that's all I'm gonna say!!!!!!!!   LOL!!!!!!   ;D

Tales from a slapper :D

there was a priest who was on active duty, lm being carefull here :-X  and somehow l clocked him at checkin our eyes crossed over the seats etc etc then one night during the voyage the drink was flowing well to much and l had my rose coloured goggles on ::), and we met by chance outside the library, before l knew l was being summoned above, the lights were dimmed in the suite and as he uttered the imortal words "for what you are about to receive"  l creased up :)

use your imagination here please

we did share some laughs and a joke about it during the voyage.
Somewhere out there exists a photo of yours truly with a dog collar on and glasses
So Forgive me for l have sinned :-[

True funny story. My first cruise on board as a Social Host, the first night, I met a very sweet college student and her Grandmother. Well, the young lady and I hit it off and one thing led to another with me escorting her from the Yacht Club to my cabin. (Preface this to say that my previous cruise line seriously frowned upon fraternization with passengers, but as my cabin on QE2 was in the passenger area, this was less of an issue.) But, she came to my cabin and we shared a beautiful time together....until...

Knock, Knock, Knock...

I hid her in my bathroom and opened the door to find the Security Officer and one of his staff at my door. They asked if they young lady was with me, noting my sweaty face and disheveled bed. They came into my cabin and I noticed her hair tie on my bed, so I sat on it. They, oddly enough, did not open the bathroom, but informed me a bit more loudly then needed, that if I did see this young lady she should call her grandmother. Her grandmother had called the bridge fearing that her granddaughter had fallen overboard due to her not coming back to the cabin yet. I advised that if I did see the young lady I would pass that message on to her.

And they left.

Well, she came out of the bathroom, gave me a gentle kiss and hand on my face said, she better go. Another kiss and this sweet girl was gone.

A few minutes later, the Security Officer came back alone and I advised him that his message had been passed on and he bid me goodnight.

The next evening at the Captain's Cocktail Party, the Cruise Director introduced me to the Captain as the new American Social Host that had everyone running around the ship looking for the "overboard" passenger. He shook my hand and said Welcome Aboard.

The young lady and I did see each other again during the cruise and kept in touch for a while after she departed. But, alas, the romance did not extend beyond her time on the ship.

I could share other tales, including the sad tales of dancing with passengers who put cabin keys and money in our tux jacket pockets...but, they are for another day.

They really did that? How desperate - I normally found enough willing participants among the passengers to keep me occupied! 8)

There were a couple of times I got into crew areas. They were with members of the entertainment staff; I never did get to socialise with someone who did not have a reason to be socialising with passengers ;)

Yes, the women did put their cabin keys and money in our pockets. I was taught by one of the veteran hosts to keep the money of course but upon escorting her back to her seat, to quietly say, madam you dropped your key and hand it back. But, some of those older women could get quite frisky and fresh. My favorite was this dear lady from Japan, who had suffered a stroke of some sort and the signs of it were on her face. I noticed her not getting many dances (due to her appearance?) and took her for a dance. Afterward, she put a 50.00 in my pocket with NO cabin key. Needless to say, she got many dances with me. :-) And I learned how to say 1,2,3 in Japanese. I can recall her wonderful perfume as I write this...

I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to do that. But, then, I'm not sure how else I'd handle it!
