Excellent!  ;D

I have sailed on QE2 on a transatlantic crossing and sailed on Queen Victoria 5 times but not transatlantic.  This photo footage gives a good overview of life onboard Queen Victoria and the aspects of a transatlantic crossing which is special.  Love the photos of New York as well and the music has been well chosen.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Hi Lynda
Thanks so much for the comments, It really was a good crossing. We would loved to have done it on the QE2!
Hopefully next time on the Queen Mary.
Cheers

Hi - This is great!
Thanks so much for posting, I wonder when you sailed?
We crossed last January (2011) in tandem with QE.
She wasn't as used to the wonderful rigours of winter seas,
and struggled to keep up.
On reaching the Grand Banks (Newfoundland)
it was necessary for both ships to change course
Captain Olsen told us (quietly!) that it would have been too dangerous to continue!
Such a disappointment - but people were falling a fair bit.

Hi Rosie, glad you enjoyed the video. This particular crossing was January 2009 and the weather was really good until we neared Cape Race, Newfoundland that's when it became a little rough but we still managed to keep the buillon down!
