Where was this photo taken? QE2 or other ship?

Could this have been taken on QE2? It is the foot of the table that makes me think it possibly was.

If so, when might this have been? Who is pictured? And where is it?

If not, I shall remove this post and pretend I never had such a silly idea  ;) !

Alternatively, by leaving it here and inviting everyone to spot the differences,
then you could enjoy the fun too!

QE2 had been waiting alongside in Dubai for nearly 12 years.  Please restore her Lifeboats and Tenders to where they truly belong - she looks naked without them - please spare her this ignominy.

I'd better take it off again soon -- and thank you all for having responded!

I'm now curious as to which ship it was taken on...

Maybe move it Sea Shanties rather than delete it?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this is NCL's Sunward II.

Clues are the Norwegian flag at the Captains table and the QE2 Quarter/Upper Deck-like windows in the background.  I did a quick search for old NCL ships and came across the Sunward 2 which was sold to NCL by none other than Cunard in 1977.  Sunward 2 was the former Cunard Adventurer!  I looked up exterior photos and deck plans for the ship.  The windows and the restaurant on the Adventurer's "Raleigh" deck match.  Judge for yourself:

Good job, Bob!   :)

The officer in the photo who posted it confirms you are correct.

Excellent! Thank you so much for having indulged me with this picture.

Shows how much I can still learn about the pre-2000 QE2... and even much more about other ships!

Good piece of detective work and attention to detail such as identifying the windows.  I am impressed.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Thanks Lynda. It was fun and so easy with the Internet.  Anyone else have any ship photos to identify?
