Thank you both -- what a kind offer!

I do hope that the original one will return to circulation, and would of course be very happy for it to continue doing the rounds of the Forum. Christmas in particular is such a good time for a family jigsaw session.

As it appears that Louis has kept the jigsaw for reasons to himself, and quite what they are is anyones guess.
So in order that we can keep the legend alive, allow me to loan out one of my jigsaws, its sitting here doing absolutely nothing and lm sure it can do with the travels..
All l ask is that when its completed that a photo is posted on here .

So lets start the ball rolling..
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!

Hello Myles, that is an excellent idea and so generous of you!

Could you possibly take a picture of the jigsaw and tell us how many pieces to expect?

There was already one possible candidate to try it out next -- and there may be others. Looking forward to puzzling it out myself too :) .

I'm delighted to say that the jigsaw has made an unexpected reappearance, after a year of being missing!  Still no idea why it disappeared for so long...

Anyway onwards and upwards...

Rod was the next person I think, having read the topic - so Rod would you like to give it a try?  You have to take a photo of yourself with the completed jigsaw, and then either send it back to me or on to the next person.

That is good to hear - and a big surprise as well.

Oh that is such good news that it has turned up. Was quite sad to think it had gone missing.

I HAVE THE JIGSAW!!!!!!!
Well I assume I have it...A Royal Mail package arrived for me today and I refuse to open it until I can clear a space on the dining room table.
So start thinking of the next person!

Great to hear that, Rod! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did.

Pictures please of you and the completed jigsaw -- and any other stage before that too if you like  ;D .

Looking forward to seeing photos of Rod with the completed jigsaw.   :)

Do we have any other volunteers who would like to try making up the jigsaw?

I found it was great fun tackling the jigsaw particularly as it must have been about half a century since the last time I done a jigsaw puzzle.

There is a second one (a different one too!), which I could put into circulation.

I imagine though that when Rod has completed the one he has, he would probably be very willing to send it on to you -- with all the requests to have your picture taken with it and to tell us how long it took you :) .

Hi Isabelle - That would really be wonderful, although it would have to be sent across the pond and I don't know if you would want to do that.  If so, I would love to have a go at it along with picture.

No problem -- Rod is your side of the Pond and your enthusiasm will be a good incentive to encourage him to show us his work!

I have completed the jigsaw, took me a WHOLE lot longer than I thought it would.....must have lost my touch!
I did take pictures...but they were on my cell phone which got stolen!
I would be happy to send the puzzle on to June!

June PM me your address and I will get it to you!

Good to hear that the jigsaw is on the move again and June will have the opportunity to have a go at making it up.

Remember to post photos when you receive it June and when you have completed the jigsaw  ;D

Do we have anyone else "across the pond" who would like to try the jigsaw after June has completed it and before it comes back to Europe?
