According to the Royal Mail tracking system it is in Germany.  So hopefully it will not be too long until it is delivered to Louis.   :)
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

After a roundtrip to Scotland and back the QE2 jigsaw has arrived safely today.

So glad to see you there with it -- and I am sure it will feel at home in your house :) .

Wishing you great enjoyment as you work on it! And thank you so much, Lynda, for your trouble in mailing it all over again...

Well done! And I love the way you did it -- first the ship and then everything else :)

Congratulations -- you were the fastest too!

As I have no others on the list at present, could you send it back to me please. I shall give you my address in a PM.

I enjoyed this tour of the jigsaw -- thanks to all who participated!

How many miles has it covered since I had it?

I would love to do it but would be terrified it would get lost on my watch!

Well, if Louis is prepared to send it to you by registered mail, I would trust you to send it back to me!

What do you think?

Rod, you will be welcome to ask for the jigsaw when an opportune moment arises :) .

Meanwhile Louis, could you send it back to me please? After its tour, and the pleasure it brought elsewhere, I shall be happy to see it again here, as it was a very special Christmas present :) .

Just to say that this bit of fun we were having earlier this year, stopped in its tracks because the jigsaw has never been returned!  If it ever reappears, we'll resume the "Have a try" Jigsaw game!

The jigsaw - Missing?
Why would any forum member not return it...?
This feels incredibly sad, and in memory of QE2; it sounds very much out of character.
If someone has mislaid it, hopefully it will be returned as soon as possible - Please.
QE2 had been waiting alongside in Dubai for nearly 12 years.  Please restore her Lifeboats and Tenders to where they truly belong - she looks naked without them - please spare her this ignominy.

It could be the postal system at fault rather than a forum member?

We're not aware of it ever being posted I'm afraid! In fact we've no idea what happened to it because all emails and messages were not replied to.

Maybe he is trying to make a copy of it......

Personally if l was involved l would place a note on this persons website or facebook page advising that "despite various emails etc which have gone unanswered WHY hasnt this been returned..it is after all in the spirit of QE2, a ship you worked on and we thought had some affection for...  >:("
If its any help, l would be more than happy to lend my one out.

Obviously still no answers !! It is not much consolation but I have tried to find another copy of said "Jigsaw" with no joy at present on the internet, however if I do I am more than willing to purchase said jigsaw & donate it to the forum for distribution after having a go myself of course, there are a few other jigsaws featuring the QE11 available, however they are photo/jigsaws rather than a painting, again if anyone whats to "have a try"
I am more than willing to purchase these and donate to the forum
