Galleys
Ham boiling pans - 15lbs psi - reducing and relief valves to be fitted.

C.A. CREBER
Senior Engineer & Ship Surveyor.

This is the first time I have seen this.
I find it truly amazing that the BoT (as it was then) even got involved in the soup boilers.

Can you believe it is 55 years ago that QE2 was doing the Technical Trials.  This topic started by youngesteverpassenger gives us an insight into the passenger experience through the Daily Programmes, like this one for 24 December 1968.

11.15 Maureen Ryan gave an illustrated talk on place of interest in London
Cocktail time at 12:15 with entertainment in the Lookout Bar, the Midship Lobby and the Q4 Room
At 4:15 African Queen with Humphrey Bogart was the movie in the theatre
7;00 Captain Warwick invited passengers to an informal cocktail part in the Queen Room
10:30 Christmas Eve Ball in the Queens Room dancing to the music of George Halley Comets and the Basil Stutley Orchestra
the Q4 Room and 736 Club offered more opportunities to dance the night away into the small hours of the morning

Interesting that the film, The Scalphunters with Burt Lancaster, in the Theatre was for UCS workers only
