Excellent, thanks for sharing.  It would be great to see any others you have.  Also interesting to note that she is referred to as RMS Queen Elizabeth 2.

And...Today's programme for Christmas Eve 1968

Interesting how it was referred to as Tuesday 24 December and not Christmas Eve.

Hello Lisa,

Thank you for these amazing sheets!

This series of daily programmes on the technical trials is becoming very intriguing.

Just a few questions for starters :

1. Where did these technical trials take place?
2. Who were the passengers?

It looks like the passengers had the duty to join in various activities. Did they have to write up any reports?

Afternoon tea, for instance, is marked as "voluntary" for adults, but "compulsory" for children aged 1 to 12.

I'd love to hear some more...

The day after Boxing Day and my first Christmas was over.

3 weeks old and a good proportion of my life spent 'on the water' !

A few more of these to come...

Hello Isabelle,

As I understand these trials took place en route to and from the Canary Islands.

The passengers were a complete mix of Cunard staff, shipbuilders and the like.

These passengers did have duties and I have attached 2 pages of instructions which clearly shows their 'guinea pig' status.

Hope this helps.
