Can anyone help me identify a pin from a group called the JOLLY ROVERS, S.S. California Chapter? The front of the pin has 2 crossed flags, one flag appears to be the Cunard house flag, the other is an anchor. Any help greatly appreciated

I have found out that the Anchor Flag is the House Flag for the Anchor Line. Cunard and the Anchor Line had merged for a while after WWI up until the 1930's. SS Californian was a ship in the Anchor Line Fleet.  I stil do not know who or what the "Jolly Rovers" were.

The SS California was sunk by a u-boat. Also Anchor Line.

Maybe "Jolly Rovers" was a maritime union of some kind?
