1970's Voyage Memorabilia
« on: Mar 05, 2011, 03:44 PM »
This was shared with me aboard Queen Elizabeth recently by a gentleman who had sailed aboard QE2 during the 70's as a crew member. It's so wonderful that so many past QE2 people travel with their QE2 treasures to share with those interested.

Going through some boxes and found all sorts of things from 1969-1979.  I'll be posting as I can get photos taken and uploaded.  Here's a few.

Ah yes, the Cunard soap bars. Kept my mum clean at home for a good few years with both my sister and me bringing them home every leave.
Don't just be part of her past, be part of her history!

I was fascinated to see Bob C's post with the Junior Globetrotters programme and badge (see attached).  I see there was even a junior cocktail party!  Does anyone else have memorabilia from the Junior Globetrotters?

I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank
