Collectibles from QE2....
Before I even go there, has this been discussed previously ?  Being a newbie on here, I am only just finding a little bit
of my way around the site and some of the topics:

What I mean by the topic of Collectibles, is, are there QE2 cruisers out there who, over the years, have collected some
interesting things, either by being gifted them ( that is, when Cunard used to give gifts, and you'd come back from
your evening to find a lovely tote bag, or some other items on the bed ), or buying things over the years that you may
now regard as unique ??

Anyone ???

Unused Leather QE2 dog collar & lead , should really use it , but somehow can't, so it gathers dust in the cupboard with all the

'Precious' to me QE2  precious things, (probably be all thrown out in a skip when I peg it, just like all her precious pottery &

things were in Dubai , thank goodness some was saved).

Given the size of the Queen Elizabeth 2 tea pot it might hold enough for one cup.
The QM Tea will of course hold a lot more, and lets face it that looks even less like QM
And the mug is there just to compare sizes...

Will never forget, going ashore on South Georgia, about a foot of snow on the ground, mines still uncleared, being shown around by a Royal Marine Captain. Tim Castle leading the way with his red umbrella!

Hi Barrie
The mug was custom made, specially designed and crafted with loving care, and made at vast expense. It is the only one in the whole wide world, l also thew caution to the wind and some other stuff done.
If l thought they would sell, l would get a 1000 shipped over from china  ::)

Qe2 Whisky.
Here are 3 bottles/decanters from my collection, the bottle having been signed by Captain McNaught, courtesy of Clyde paddler.
Does anyone know how many different decanters and bottles were produced over the years and which distilleries did their contents come from ? Morrison- Bowmores, Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch are 2 that come to mind.

Probably more than anyone can imagine, everyone is probably aware of the black ceramic decanters, they also came in white and blue versions as well.  l was hoping to take some pics of mine today outside, but the weather put paid to that, but as soon as l can,l will post some more pics here. My collection goes as far back as the Blended version by James Buchanan of the BLACK & WHITE whisky with the E2 logo right upto the Three Queens whisky,Gin and Vodka. Then of course there is the matter of the water jugs  ;)
