Advancing Civilization Since 1840

After Carnival completed its purchase of Cunard, they began by refurbishing the Caronia and QE2, while instituting a new ad campaign to capitalize on the nostalga of the legendary Cunard Line as well as announcing the Project Queen Mary.  I found this link to the creative genius behind the ad campaign.

Check out the link to the TV ad that was produced as well.

The perfect ad to launch CunardClassic  ;D .

Great slogan : You can't live in the past, but it's a glorious place to visit.

I note several snippets from Caronia -- including the bumpout at its most picturesque!

Agree Isabelle!  I also like the slogan, "Those who worship change, simply don't understand tradition".  That sort of campaign puts patronage of the service out as a challenge so as to say: are you able to handle our service?

The US Marines use the same tactic in their recruiting advertising and it works for them very well.  Of course they deliver what they advertise and so did QE2.
