I promise I'm not on commission and hope it's ok to mention it but I got some great photos of our cruise departure/return from a helpful guy called Dean at Fawleygallery. He charges obviously per print but it's nice to have the possibility of a decent photo of your actual cruise from across the water.

Great find!    I just looked at my September 2008 departure.  If the resolution is decent, I suspect I will be able to spot myself on the observation deck.  Looks like I have to order a few prints.

Glad to help. The quality of the prints I ordered is excellent. I have spoken to Dean. He just loves recording Cruise ships coming and going and I believe the gallery is his living. I think it's great that someone took those shots-he even managed to get me waving above the cunard sign (check 2 hands in air!)The choppy delayed departure of 12/08/08 and tranquil early morning turnaround of 22/8/08 are beautifully captured

I think I've just spotted myself in one of the 31st July ones; 2 figures away frm main crowds close to one of the red lifeboats.
Think it may be me and my mum hanging out and admiring the view - me in a state of excitment nd squeeing with pleasure at being back onboard.
Took a few pics ourselves - one of which is where my avatar picture comes from - its the turquiose top that stands out!
(Embarassingly, the cardigan had been put to good use a few minutes earlier. Being a clumsy sort, I'd managed to spill a full glass of champagne down my top in an excited champagne glass in hand / camera / trying to get pics of the flags on the mast situation and ended up with a QE2 version of a wet  t-shirt competition and the cardigan was wrapped around tightly to spare my further blushes in the sailaway crowd! oops!      )

Nice to see another pic of almost the event that makes me giggle at the memory!
