A book about Queen Mary and other Cunard Liners

'Tramp to Queen: Captain John Treasure Jones'
Edited by Richard J. Tennant
Pub. The History Press 2008

Captain J.Treasure Jones' manuscripts made throughout his career have been edited posthumously by his son-in-law.
Captain R Warwick writes in the forward,  'An important chapter for marine historians and passenger ship aficionados is the story of Queen Mary's final voyage to California. While the captain was sad that his ship was being sold, he was very proud to be in command for the final trip.'

This is a good book!
[By the way - it can be bought via The QE2 Story shop - It's just like Harrods, 'The shop that has everything'
with one exception - things might just cost half the price! :)]

The FANTASTIC Clive Harvey book, which seemed to disappear from Amazon as soon as it was released, is available on ebay just now.  I can't recommend it highly enough.  Absolutely superb.
