Waverley Presentation - Tuesday 11th January

Hi Folks and Happy New Year,

Lets hope that we get news on our liner this year.

On another note myself and a colleague are doing a presentation entitled "In the Wake of a Legend" to Mearns Historical Society at 7.30 on Tues 11th Jan.

The presentation covers the ship from her build thru her service life and into preservation but the main subject is a look into the content of her Heritage Lottery Refurb which happened in two phases (2000 & 2003).

Anyone welcome to attend at the following venue:

Fairweather Hall, Barrhead Road, Newton Mearns, Glasgow G77 6BB. The Hall is adjacent to the ASDA ca park (west). There is limited parking for early birds behind the Hall itself.

Please make yourself known if you do and no heckling!!
