Multimedia & CD-ROM Room.

I wonder if anyone recalls the CD-ROM / Multimedia room?

It was added during the 1994 refit as a small room off the Book Shop, forward.

It operated as a CD-ROM Library for a few years and then became a storeroom, however the "Multimedia" sign was never removed from the wall above the entry.

My sister and I used it during the 1995 World Cruise when we were aboard, CD ROM was so "cool" back then!

Does anyone else recall it?

No I never used it, but I did see the sign and wonder!

Yes I remember the joys of multimedia in the mid 90s - CD-ROM! - but not, for me, on board QE2.

I do remember it and even have a similar photo showing it, but it never crossed my mind to look inside or wonder what it's original use might be.

Reminds me of the old video shops in the US. behind curtain......X !

What video shops would they be Rod?

I was told.... that they were for outdated and foreign language films!
