Do you have a link to the bridgecam please Michael ( and also to the QM2 and QV ones, because the links I had before just default to the Cinard home page and I haven't managed to find new links yet! )?

Does this help?

http://www.cunard.com/Ships/Queen-Elizabeth/Bridge-Web-Cam/

No, it doesn't. Like every other Cunard page I try to see, this just gets me to this page :

http://www.cunard.be/

which is no use to me at all. By the way, it gets me to that page, whether or not I am in Belgium...

Do you also get this Flemish speaking and very basic looking page when you click this link?

Hi Isabelle

Sounds infuriating

After a couple of clicks on the links I get this (safari!)

Notre nouveau navire reflète un raffinement sublime

En automne 2010, l’illustre réputation de Cunard pour ses magnifiques croisières sera encore renforcée avec l’arrivée du plus nouveau navire Queen Elizabeth......

the clicking on Queen Vic - I get English
then on Mighty Mary I get French
There's an offer of 'Netherlands'
No Flemish!
http://www.cunard.be/index_fr.h

(Do you think it might be something due to the cookies that Cunard have baked?)

Have you tried to reach the webcams via  this site?

QE2 had been waiting alongside in Dubai for nearly 12 years.  Please restore her Lifeboats and Tenders to where they truly belong - she looks naked without them - please spare her this ignominy.

Were you able to reach the webcam in this way? I would be interested to know whether it is possible to work one's way through to the English language Cunard web site once one's computer has decided that it wants the Belgian page...

And by the way, it now wants the Belgian page, no matter what web browser I use, and no matter in which country I search for it...

Nederlands and Flemish (Vlaams) are the same thing (the Dutch call it Nederlands and the Belgians call it Vlaams). The two are as close as the English spoken in Ireland and in England, respectively.

Isabelle

Yes!
By going to:
http://www.cunard.be/
All in Flemish
Then by clicking on Queen Victoria (2nd line on left side of page) -
it brings up the Cunard.com site in a new central panel of the  page (in English)
and it's possible on my mac to get the three webcams by clicking on Bridge Web Cam at the foot of the list

It would seem that there's a significant glitch on the be/ site
Hope that Cunard are aware - as well as being tricky, they could be missing good bookings too!

Why am I not excited about any of this?  I remember the excitement with QM2 vividly. All this got me to thinking that it was two years ago today, that I boarded QE2 for the last time.   :'(

Isabelle and Rosie, Hopefully by pasting this link http://www.cunard.com/webcams/qel.jpg into your browser the webcam will work where ever you are.  Remember to click refresh to update the image. :)

Cunard have put a list of each ships' current itinerary voyage alongside the ship's webcam window :)
A great idea!!

I see QE's webcam is in a different location to QV - looks like its lower down.

QM2 is bound for St Thomas with what looks like a reasonably choppy sea ahead - what I would give to be on her right now!!
