Here are some documents regarding the salary & working conditions for those involved in the refit in Bremerhaven 1986/7.
I think it's pretty unlikely that any other copies of these exist, except perhaps for Cunard Line.

Here is another document for you to see. I've re-typed it and saved it as a pdf file. Not sure about how many words per minute, but it only took 2 hours to do

Hi Richard,  Thanks for taking the time to retype the minutes of meeting document.

All these documents are a valuable part of the QE2' history and give an insight into the conditions of the crew who were onboard ship at the time of the refit.

Hi Lynda, the main reason for posting these documents on the forum is that, as you say, they're an important part of the life of the ship.
The originals are getting tatty too, so this way, I'll also be preserving them.

PS. I see that you're close to Edinburgh. We regularly visit friends and family in the Musselburgh/Tranent/Haddington areas.

Good thinking Richard.  I am in the process of scanning in old family photos for the same reason to preserve for future generation.  I was also looking at some of my QE2 stuff and need to think about scanning. 

I do live near Edinburgh but on the West side of the city near to South Queensferry.
