Anyone got any memories of the crossing the line ceremonies on QE2?  It was always great fun  crossing the equator with the court of King Neptune ...no matter how many times you saw it or participated in it ...though it should only be once for the first time you become a shellback instead of a pollywog......the passengers got off light compared to the crew who  had beans spaghetti or something else horrible and slimey put down their shirt or trousers then thrown into the pool...the mess was unbelievable but in good old Qe2 fashion it was cleared up super quick and we were back relaxing by the pool  complete with cocktail....and swimming in it in no time...

Will need to hunt out my photos.....kissing the fish....what fun...YUK!

look forward to your stories......

so are you a QE2 Shellback or Pollywog??
