Shes a nice looking boat - good to see her being renovated for further use.

I have posted a couple of photos of her in her own thread here:

I would love to get back to Edinburgh to see HMY Britannia. l visited when she had recently opened upto the public, they were very strict about photo taking. and l got bollocked by one abnoxious

Its hard knowing how to bring in additional revenue, its all very well adding a Tea room on top , l suppose they could do down the line of an official photo at the gangway. But HMY is available for private functions ,  The boss went down a few years ago for a Krug tasting Dinner and came back with some soup plates for me from onboard. They appeared to be from when the previous owner had the yacht..Granted they had seen much better days, none the less  :-X

(Off topic)
Then there are the tinned local Raspberries that are lovingly hand picked and tinned and dispatched with a beautiful label to The Palace for the chefs to use. l took a tin out as a Christmas gift to a Royalist friend in San Diego, and told him on pain of death never to post any photos on social media of the tin,or worse Ebay them,  he assured me he wouldnt, But he did say he would never want to open the tin so l had to send a tin of Raspberries out to him ..
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!

When I visited her not too long after she opened I took lots of photos in all areas and no one said a thing. Guess the wrong person was on duty when you went.

Hi June. I have not posted any of my photos of Britannia. I will have a go at posting a selection, although it can be a bit tricky as the none landline connection I have to us often refuses to upload more than the odd picture.

Hi Bruce - I would love to see some if you can give it a try at some point.  No hurry.  And I know how trying to send a photo on a non land line can be.  Thanks !  June   :)

Will take a look if any of the photos I took last September are worth sharing after I fixed the nas shares, I'm don't have any particular good photo skills, so must of them have something horrible wrong with them.

These photos are all from March 2005

The Queens bedroom.

The wall has had a window cut in it to the corridor to allow a view inside.

Bridge & Navigation area.
This is of course a naval ship with the wheel housed in a separate secure area below the bridge.
