The final voyage on board auction
« on: Jan 06, 2010, 08:16 AM »
As the title says I'm interested in the contents of the charity auction on the final voyage. We all are aware of the honour of finishing with engines that one lucky passenger had and I'm also aware of that Dubai world vacated he Elizabeth and Mary suites on the signal deck for the last few days and these were in the auction. But does anyone know  what other one off goodies were auctioned off?

Whilst this was going on we were standing in a queue that circled the ENTIRE ship for Captain Mcnaught to sign some memorabilia,,,,total of 4 hours waiting.,...some folks were longer...we could hear parts of the auction going on  ...but at the end of the day dont think we could have bid anyway.....mostly everything was in the $0000000ss !! After paying for the voyage to Dubai there wasnt a lot of pennies left in the kitty!

Thanks Michael and cruise princess - much appreciated.

Fantastic that Captain Mcnaught kept going until everyone's items had been signed.
