These programmes are being repeated - again!
The first is tomorrow (Thursday) evening on BBC Four at 8.00pm

Just watched the episode about the Clyde shipyards and it was very interesting. It had a little bit about the QE2 aswell and the memories of former shipyard workers and trade unionist Jimmi Reid. Would reccomend it highly.

For Members in the UK, these programmes are being repeated on BBC FOUR, beginning tomorrow night at 20.00
(Tuesday, 3rd January)
On the programmes website, the second and third programmes are scheduled to be on Wednesday 4th Jan. and Thursday 5th Jan.
however, they aren't shown for these nights in the Radio Times. Not sure why!

As usual don't know where to post,but last night BBC4  'the men who built the liners'. was pretty damm good ,maybe it's been aired before maybe there's a previous link, but well worth a look on iplayer (uk). 1 phrase that sticks out ''QE2 was a 20th century ship , built with 19th century equipment(machines), no wonder we don't have a viable shipbuilding industry . QE2 well represented. Mods shift as reqd ....

For those forum members in the UK there is another programme in the Timeshift series on this Thursday night 1st August at 21.40. It is on BBC 4 and is titled "The Last Days of The Liners".
