QE- Vet/connnections during 1942-1945

Hi, I am trying to track down any family members of WWII veterans in the U.S. or elsewhere who may own portraits/bomber jackets painted by his father, Tony Strong. To narrow it down a little bit, we are looking at US air crews who traveled to Europe on the RMS Queen Elizabeth in WWII from 1942-1945, where his father was on board, working on the jackets/portraits. There were hundreds that Tony painted--and for example, the American boxer Joe Louis, commissioned more than one when was on board QE heading to Europe for a morale boosting program. Any guidance/contacts in the right direction would be so greatly appreciated as we are trying to find these direct connections (especially of any living WWII veterans) to be part of this film in tribute of Tony Strong. Here is a recent obit of Tony Strong: https://amp.theguardian.com/film/article/2024/sep/04/tony-strong-obituary

Many thanks and look forward to connecting more,

Tracy
