I was very pleased to meet Thomas Hypher at Town Quay this evening to watch the departure of various vessels including QV & QM2. Quite spontaneously we were joined by Twynkle on a video call and the chat focussed on our personal history of shipping links and I enjoyed hearing Thomas’ explanations of nautical bits & pieces. Unfortunately the weather was unkind but it did not dampen spirits or our enjoyment of sharing our experiences of QE2.
