One year - a milestone.

Well it's official - this day last year I stepped off QE2 for the last time  :( so am feeling a bit nostalgic for the good old days!!

Can't believe how time flies.

I think looking through all the photos of the magnificent voyage with a nice glass of wine will be on the cards tonight!

I wonder how many others of us are left with to experience their one-year farewell milestone?

And 10 September markes 19 years to the day that I ever set foot on board QE2. What a day Tuesday 10 September 1990 was.....

Afraid I was only a visitor that day. My first trip came a year later on a two-night party trip in November!

What a day, Chris, Michael and Louis!

One year ago today exactly was when I did not see you, Chris (sorry  :D  ) and embarked QE2, together with Pia and our Mum, for our final voyage (the transatlantic Autumn Colours cruise).

Until the end of September, memories will keep coming up for me every day -- and I shall finally upload the last few photos of the trip!

So glad that she was in top form at the time, and that we really enjoyed her while she was going strong.

Today 14 years ago i was bouncing around the North Atlantic with the Hurricane Luis around us until that fatal minute on the morning of the 11th when the wave struck us.

I try and not think about what could have really happened if..............
