3D printed QE2 Model
« on: Dec 28, 2023, 10:53 AM »
"Liners World" contacted us via Instagram to share with us their 3D liner models, which includes separate models for QE2 and the QE2 Funnel.  As I understand it, these can be printed to any size you wish, or presumably also viewable in 3D in suitable software.

Thanks for this message Rob!
Here are 2 examples of a 1/700 waterline model I've printed for a customer in Germany.
A short word to re-introduce myself (I've been a member of this forum for many, many years;): I'm obviously passionate about classic liners and have been fortunate enough to have taken a (single) cruise on the QE2 in summer 2008. I've started this side activity a few years ago, initially to model the ships I had been on, and also for my son. It soon appeared that there was an interest, so I started modeling ships which, for the most part, don't exist as commercial kits. I'm in Paris, France.
Feel free to ask me questions if you'd like!
