Old steamer trunks with cunard labels
« on: Jul 15, 2024, 12:57 PM »
One of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time is rummaging around antiques shops, and it's surprising just how often steamer trunks turn up with cunard labels on them, usually from Queen Mary or Queen Elizabeth.  I always wonder where the trunk has been.

Attached was taken yesterday at the wonderful Glamis castle transport extravaganza in Scotland.

In your opinion what was QE2's "final nail in the coffin" with Cunard?
