Sorry to have to pass on.... Jeff Manwaring a/c engineer, fridge engineer has left us. No details but he was about my age,70, and a great guy.Married one of the dancers.

Thanks for posting Rod - Condolences to his friends and family. 

I have added his name to the In Memoriam topic.

I noticed on the Facebook QE2 Crew page that he died on 6 March 2023.  He was an engineer on QE2 between 1976 and 1988.

Sad to hear this.  I'm sure my Dad will have known him and worked with him.
Passionate about QE2's service life for 40 years and creator of this website.  I have worked in IT for 28 years and created my personal QE2 website in 1994.

It's a great picture of Jeff and is how I remember him... he was always amenable with a great sense of humor.... we were young then, now we have aged we are drawn to remember those we sailed with when we are presented with  their demise..... live every day
