Hi Rob

I notice that at the moment we are all Lido Diners. I don't know what levels are above this, I guess that we will have to wait and see.

Anyway, I am not too sure that I wish to be known as a Lido Diner, as I have NEVER had an evening meal in the Lido. In my view, Cunard should NOT have alternative dining venues! I am not ashamed to admit that I always ate in the Mauritania Restaurant.

I will admit to having the odd lunch in the Lido, and (obviously) one or two midnight buffets were enjoyed in the Lido.  ;D

Rob - is there a Pavilion Diner level for early risers and lovers of Cheeseburgers or Minute Steaks  ;)

Cheeseburgers eh Chris?  Now you're talking my friend!  How about the Funnel Bar, al fresco dining under the stars and a view to die for?

I'm convinced that the Pavilion cheeseburgers were some of the best on the planet! It was hard not to go back for seconds.

Funnel Bar was, in my opinion, a superb addition to Sun Deck. For years that area was quite underutilised (on cruises) - but the addition of Funnel Bar brought the area to life, especially for sail-away or night-parties (Andy - do you remember the Pineapples during Mediterranean Sojourn?)

Chris.

Im pleased to say lm also l Lido diner, the breakfasts, the lunches, the Pavillion l do think did serve the best cheese burgers & minute steaks :-* and Bobby behind the counter with his cheeky smile and large portions, And l will admit to having a Lido dinner  with the rest of my table in 2004, we had  a great night, lots of wine, belly laughs. As for the midnight buffet, what better way to enjoy  a break than by poping up for a look and maybe a small taste of some things  on display.

From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!

I will confess, that the only poor service I had on QE2 was in the lido.  having said that, their breakfasts were great with an omellete made in front of you and as much of whatever you liked as possible.

I *LOVED* Princess Grill, but at breakfast, it just didn't feel right - which is interesting, because originally it wouldn't have been used for breakfast, or even lunch, just evening meals.
