What did you see from aboard QE2?

Whales - Dolphins - Birds....

Coastline etc?

There were a few huge container ships and oil- tankers sailing in, as we left Soton last year -
and the oil rigs were much in evidence in the North Sea.
Lots of sea birds off Iceland - but sadly, no whales, seals or dolphins.......

The strangest thing I saw while on QE2 was a beach ball in the middle of the Atlantic (day 2 or 3).  I had a hard time wrapping my 9 year old brain around how that could have happened.

I saw nothing but very large swells for five days straight until we reached the channel (I saw a little of Boston when we left but we were delayed and I feel asleep waiting - probably from drinking too much of my farewell champagne!) - we weren't allowed out on deck until the last night!
