So the remaining items of QE2 / Cunard crockery disappeared into the skips (had we but known and "saved" some of them...)...
I really liked the plain white and gold crockery which was in use (I believe) in all three grills for the past decade or so. Wedgewood I think.

Then, there was the Lido crockery, also used in the Queen's Room (attached to the Lido for the purposes of afternoon tea). I never really grew attached to that, but liked it in use.

The other day, when attending a meeting, I got completely distracted, when I noticed the upturned cup in front of me. The staff had just entered the room to fill these cups with coffee for us... I whipped out my camera and took a quick picture before they could do so, as the bottom of the cup showed the magic word "Steelite"!
