Whoohooo..... Shocked

Just listen to this brilliant BBC Radio Scotland show about The River Clyde and our beloved QE2....6 hours worth, documenting the shipbuilding itself, to the comedians like Billy Connolly and Chick Murray that the shipyards created.

Also, the music that was inspired by the Shipyards etc....

listened in to some of this-most interesting.Great to here the original workers stories Wish I had my old cassette deck to record it- I never manage to do anything properly in this regard in the digital age. Hope someone keeps it for posterity/public access

I just answered my own question.  There is a sound archive but it doesn't tell you how to access it.  How annoying.  I have emailed the Beeb and I will see if they get back to me.  If I could get a transcript of the programme I would definitely share for those who missed it.
